About Me

I am a not yet 55 year old woman married for 25+ years, 4 kids, 1 dog and 1 cat. The kids are beginning to leave home. One is launched, one is in college and 2 are still at home. As a couple we are entering the final stage of our parenting journey: the teenage years and beyond. We are starting to dream and think and plan for those years when the house is quiet and it is just us once again. Please join me as I explore what it means to grow older with adventure and grace.

Blogs Worth A Click: Speaking Hope Addition

There are writers who can speak hope into hopeless situations. My friend Gail has a blog titled Life After Death.

She has had an emotionally crushing 6 months. She has lost her grandbabies and her husband this summer. About 10 days ago her step son unexpectedly passed away in his sleep. Most people would be curled into a emotional fetal position by now.

Not Gail. She started a blog and writes words of hope. I wish she had written a book, I could suggest curling up with it. We can't yet curl up with our computers yet so bring a box of tissues.

There are writers who can pull back the curtain from despair and revel Hope and Hope does not disappoint.

If you would like to mention a blog or a book that speaks words of hope to hurting people, please feel free to leave a comment.

Hi I've been to your friends blog and read the entire blog from start to end. I was in tears please send her my love and thanks, for her inspiration.
She should get her story published, it would not only encourage others but might be able to raise funds for Cancer relief or a support group. She's an inspiration, tell her that.

Gail's blog is definitely worth a click. What a story. And what a wonderful woman, to put her energy toward doing something productive and positive. I hope many people will be inspired by her!

Life is a journey with joy, hardship, sadness. This is the reality and we have to live bravely in whatever situation.
Have a nice journey.

wow, prior writing anything, let me bow to you. Thank you.
While writing with the vocabulary in hand, it's hard to talk plainly or to answer to your precious question properly, yet my applause is the hot. Even your question revives the hope by pointing to the ETERNAL VALUES.
Understanding of Life after death enables the joy of life now, transform all disasters into the colorful pictures of gratitude.
I'm not going to promote my own blog, yet let me invite you to visit us: my blog Modus Vivendi portrays the life and works of art therapy club for the people with the psychiatric disorders (is located in the hospital for mentally ill) You will see not the complaints for the hopeless situation of the disabled, but the sunny pictures of the patients.
I want to invite you to look at my personal blogs too. you will find other artworks there, but the same message of the gratitude. Just click on the links
