About Me

I am a not yet 55 year old woman married for 25+ years, 4 kids, 1 dog and 1 cat. The kids are beginning to leave home. One is launched, one is in college and 2 are still at home. As a couple we are entering the final stage of our parenting journey: the teenage years and beyond. We are starting to dream and think and plan for those years when the house is quiet and it is just us once again. Please join me as I explore what it means to grow older with adventure and grace.

Our Favorite Mothe/ Daughter Chick Flicks

Our Favorite Mother/ Daughter Chick Flicks:

1) The Princess Bride

2) Ella Enchanted

3) Ever After

4) A Walk to Remember

These are not films about mothers and daughters. Matter of fact I think most of the moms are dead in the above listed movies, hmmmm. These are films the 13, 18 and 48 year old like to watch together.

The summer is long and hot where we live.  We could use some more suggestions.  Do you have a favorite mother/daughter chick flick?
