Wii, Wii, Wii for Me. Me, ME: Stress Reliever
Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:22AM Life is full of serendipitous moments. The more you play Wii Fit, the systems automatically opens up more activities. The very day I was enduring getting the kids out the door for World Changers, the boxing activity in the aerobic training mode opened up. Perfect timing, instead of pulling any more of my hair out, I could hit at nothing and not look foolish.
I don’t know how aerobic the boxing is but I was a calmer mama after a couple of rounds of play. It is wonderfully mindless. You do what the bossy punching bag tells you to do. Punch right or left, block (which the 17 year old explained meant step back up onto the Wii Fit board.) I’ve tried Tae Bo before so I know how to throw an exercise punch without getting hurt. The virtual trainer always shakes his virtual head in disapproval after the round is finished. Subsequently I expect him to be disappointed, consequently I happy with my effort even if he (it?) is not.
As a mom of teenagers, I suspect I could be playing the boxing game daily for years to come.

I have thought about getting a Wii. I really need to exercise and I refuse to buy another exercise bike! They always wind up being drying racks. You are right about the teenagers, I could have used one of those. I have two and they moved away, but one moved back. AUUUGGGGGGHHHHH! Thanks for choosing my blog to display your advertisement. All the best.
Okay, I need one of these! I have two toddlers, a tween, and a teen! Maybe I can get them to sponsor a review and give away on my blog. Ha Ha!
I've been dying to get Wii Fit but I've had trouble finding one. They've been sold out everywhere.
Oh! We just got our Wii last month and now I'm on the lookout for the Wii Fit. It's on my Christmas wish list, but they're hard to find, so I'm not waiting, if I see it, I'm buying it!
lol, I LOVE the boxing game. Stick with it - the "nod" from the trainer (instead of the shaking head - makes it worth it. ;-)
