Cheap Fun: Date Night Suggestion: The Book Store
Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 12:00AM Here is how the Cheap Fun game is played: A night in or out, for 2 people, $10 or less not including gas or babysitters. If you leave a comment I will post your idea and website in a future post.
This is one my sister and her husband taught me....
Many national bookstores don’t mind if you grab a book or two or a few magazines and peruse them in the bookstore. Both our local Boarders and Barnes and Nobles have seating areas where you can look at magazines and get something to eat and/or drink.
Date night plan: Scope out what you would like to read, meet back at the table for some coffee, a shared dessert, magazine skimming, shared smiles and comments.
Your turn.......

I really like the sound of the bookstore thing but unfortunately, I'd have to be dating myself to make that happen! And it's just no fun meeting ME back at the table!
But then you don't have to share the dessert.
I always suggest a hike of any length. 1 mile or 10- doesn't matter. Take a bird book or a flower book or no book and just talk! Some parks/trails have an entrance fee, but many do not.
Play some tennis or bocce ball--completely free! Can always add Subway to it if you want to eat.
I like the park suggestion above. We do that a lot!
Can always go window shopping at a mall too.
Our time together is all about bikes, motorcycles and we enjoy any time together that has to do with the thing that we are both interested in.
