About Me

I am a not yet 55 year old woman married for 25+ years, 4 kids, 1 dog and 1 cat. The kids are beginning to leave home. One is launched, one is in college and 2 are still at home. As a couple we are entering the final stage of our parenting journey: the teenage years and beyond. We are starting to dream and think and plan for those years when the house is quiet and it is just us once again. Please join me as I explore what it means to grow older with adventure and grace.

The Grandkids Are Coming: VBS

Vacation Bible Schools are a fun, educational, inexpensive, daily, safe, faith building experiences for your grand kids if they are staying for the week. These are not your parent's VBS’s. Some meet during the day, others in the evening.

Check out this one North Wake’s Runners Camp.

The Boomerang Express is another popular VBS in our area.

To find one in your area check local churches’ web sites.

In Cleveland, check out http://www.phbaptist.org/ for upcoming sports camp and VBS at Parma Heights Bagtist church. Sports camp (free, M-T) this coming week and Son Rock Camp is our VBS them in July.

I've got wrong perception here. I think VBS stands for Visual Basic Script.. and Voila that's Vacation Bible Schools

cheers

Ours start on mid July. My hubby and I always have fun volunteering for VBS. It's a great way to fellowship, meet lots of people and have fun with other kids.
